APRIL LIBRARY EVENTS

Edna St. Vincent Millay asked, "To what purpose, April, do you return again?" For The Pratt Institute Libraries' Spring Events, of course!

National Poetry Month

The Academy of American Poets sponsors National Poetry Month every April, and the Pratt Libraries will participate in a few ways: stop by the circulation desk throughout the month to pick up some poems for your reading pleasure; peruse the display cases, in which library staff's favorite, annotated poems will be found; and attend a Poetry Reading on April 20 at 5:30 in the Alumni Reading Room (read your favorite poem!).

National Library Week

April 10-16 is National Library Week, sponsored by the American Library Association. To celebrate, the Pratt Libraries offer two days of amnesty from overdue fines. Return currently overdue books without penalty (outstanding fines will not be waived, however).

Spring Fest Book Sale

Friday, April 29th, 10am - 4pm
